Looking for a specifics in a theme

Hi everyone,

I apologize if I’ve missed the obvious, but I’m looking for help from people with good WordPress theme experience.

I’m searching for a simple theme that has a scrolling blog (i.e., vertical list of posts with video, imagery and writing) on one half of the page and a grid of images that can be associated with “projects” and link to pages that are more descriptive and represent the work done on each project.

If anyone has any suggestions I can chase down for a theme that incorporates the above description, I’d very much appreciate it. I spent the entire day yesterday going through themeforest.com and similar sites with no luck.
