author comments

I am wanting to add this to my post where i can say thanks then list all the people who commented on that post with their links to their sites if it applies as shown here
http://www.princessdominique.com/blog/ i tried adding

<a href="<?php comment_author_url(); ?>">
<?php comment_author(); ?></a>

which i found in the codex but didn’t work it just said anonymous
