Manual upgrade question

Hi,

I seem to have skipped the upgrade of your plugin on my live site that required the extra steps rather than just the simple, “Click here to update.” DUH. I thought I updated both my test site and live site at the same time, but when I just tried to update my live site yesterday, it updated to only 1.8.2 and looks quite odd, with several lines at the top of the page that say [MONTH] [MONTH] [WEEK] [DAY] [HOUR].

My test site updated correctly to 1.8.4.

My question is, should I follow the instructions for installing the calendar manually, but putting the 1.8.4 version in wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar?
