W3 Total Cache

    My site is INCREDIBLY slow to use- I click on a menu link, and it takes 8 seconds for it to load. Yet when I use web site analyzers, I get a B! I’m using W3 Total cache (the latest version) and it seemed to actually slow it own. I followed a guide online for shared hosting, still no improvement

    I was thinking of switching hosts as I’m currently with stablehost, but I have prepaid for a year. I’d hate to switch over and find I have the same issue. Any tips/suggestions? Preferably free ones (I know I could pay a fortune for a CDN)

    Without W3
    Score 76%
    Page load time: 5.00s
    Total page size: 2.04MB
    Total number of requests: 60

    With W3 – page load time is 8 seconds, but score is 86%. But it FEELS slower…
