hi there, I am desperately in need of some help… I did a stupid thing, completely by accident, I went into the general settings of my account and deleted the WordPress URL by mistake, it should have read

    http://www.equiviews.co.uk/blog

    but ended up reading

    http://www.equiviews.co.uk

I then came up with a message saying URL not found on server 🙁 I went straight back, realised what I had done and put it back to how it should have been but now all i get when i click on the website is a weird version of my home page and a message saying ‘oops sorry we couldnt find what you are looking for!’

Please Please Please can someone tell me how I can fix this fast?!

Hi there, thank you so much, I went into my database and changed the url… that has worked but only for the home page… all the other pages still come up with the same message when you click on them… So part way there but any ideas for the other pages?

    Anyone?

When I enter the URL now (www.equiviews.co.uk/blog/) it takes me to my home page and I can log into my admin account, but when I click on the links to my other pages or try to open any of my posts on that site it just doesnt recognise the link, I have looked at the url addresses in the wordpress editor for each page and they are correct (contain/blog/), I have tried clicking ‘update’ nothing! I have also as a test tried to create another page, this does not show up either! Am pulling my hair out here, please help me!

Try setting your permalinks to default then save. Then set them to what you want and save again.
