Site does not load AT ALL

I changed to a new theme today. Everything was working perfectly, yet randomly the site now does not load at all. I didn’t add any new plugins or widgets before the site stopped responding. I cannot access the site via logging in online and do not have WordPress set up on my laptop. If anyone can help at all – please contact me

Please use an FTP client to rename the improperly behaving theme folder to old-theme-folder-name and reload the site…

Have you contacted Godaddy?
Their server tend to be quite slow. You could ask them to see if there’s anything wrong and if they could move you.

I was able to see the site for a few seconds, but then it switched to the white screen. If you can, I would go to the FTP and deactivate all plugins by renaming the plugins folder old. Once that’s done, see if that helps.
It’s possible that you have too many plugins installed or one of them is causing havoc.

Thanks again! I’ve got FileZilla but there’s one problem – none of my site is on my laptop. It has all been updated/designed/regulated via WordPress online, yet the programme is looking for times on my laptop.

If this can only be sorted via the desktop client then I am well and truly destroyed.
