Background format problem on iPhone

    I’m currently developing a WordPress site using the HTML5 boilerplate for structure.

    There’s a problem with the site when viewed on an iPhone (haven’t tried other smartphones, iPad etc yet). The background is only covering a third of the page when it should be full-width. can anyone suggest what might be causing the problem?
