I have installed the plugin and have uploaded a PDF and get the following:

http://www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com/wp/wp-content/plugins/wp-publication-archive/includesincludes/template.wppa_widget.php

Seems like a missing slash. The first line was as follows:

Warning: include() [function.include]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /home/content/82/8587782/html/wp/wp-content/plugins/wp-publication-archive/lib/class.publication-widget.php on line 133

Any ideas?

Update! I saw this blog from 2007 and wondered if it was important to this issue.

That looks like more than just missing a slash.

What WordPress and PHP versions are you using? What other plugins do you have installed?

@ngwoodhouse Actually, I’ve figured out the issue.

The Widget was a community-contributed project that wasn’t fully tested before release. My bad.

If you can, go in to /lib/class.publication-widget.php and, on line 133, change WP_PUB_ARCH_INC_URL to WP_PUB_ARCH_DIR.

I’ll have this fixed in version 2.5.5
