Hi,

Is it at all possible to add a widget to the admin profile area i.e. http://mysite.com/wp-admin/profile.php?

If so, How would one do so?

But I could not find anything about the profile page.

I have customised the dashboard of users, but I am not able to add anything to the profile page.

Could you give me some advice on adding some simple links to a profile.php page?

The profile page does not support widgets AFAIK. You can possibly alter content with the several filters and actions available. Otherwise you would need to create your own version and alter the menu to got to it instead of the default.
