• I have an internal BLOG (sorry, can’t give out the link ’cause it’s not on the Internet)

It was WP 1.5.2 on Apache on Solaris.

    Everything was fine.

Then we upgraded to 2.0 AND transferred it to Windows IIS.

Now atom and rss don’t work.

Not sure if it’s the Windows or the WP 2.0 that’s causing the trouble.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas.

I’m using SAGE with Firefox and also rssreader (rssreader.com) to subscribe.

In Firefox, I get an empty list of posts.

In rssreader it prompts me for a username and password. I didn’t setup a username/password for this feed!

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks so much! Very frustrating.

I just upgraded our old Solaris Apache site to 2.01 and the RSS still works.

So, perhaps it could be one of the following:

    1) a WP 2.0 issue
    2) a Windows IIS issue

I will upgrade our Windows site to 2.01 and see if it works…

I upgraded my Windows site to WP 2.0.1 and it still has these issues, so I’m thinking it’s a Windows problem.

Does anyone have WP 2.0.1 on Windows and is RSS working for you?

Mine keeps prompting for a username and password.

Anyone have any ideas of how to troubleshoot this?

    Thanks! 🙂

I have WP 2.0.1 on IIS6 and the feeds are working (for some readers). But, I haven’t been able to validate them in feedburner and I get an error when going directly to http://www.rccjax.com/resources/index.php/feed/

If I use feed:http://www.rccjax.com/resources/index.php/feed/ it works.

It turns out one of my collegues put a username and password on the feed without telling me. D’oh!

I guess I can’t completely blame this one on Windows! 🙂
