lots of people with the same problem – but no fixes to be found in the forum. I’m using Alyeska from Theme Boulevard and my cPanel did the update using Quick install.

  • You’re using a premium/paid theme, it’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme for help with customizations and issues. These forums are themes available in the WordPress theme directory at wordpress.org/extend/themes/.

Songsogtech, Does this mean that, if we are using a paid premium theme, any issue that we are experiencing with 3.5, we have to go to the theme for support? 3.5 is not the issue it’s the theme?

You can explore whether the issue occurs specifically to your theme by switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Eleven, disabling all plugins and checking whether the problem persists.

As stated in the forum’s manual, commercial themes are not supported by WordPress.org.

It means you should a) start your own topic as you’re reply isn’t helping phil1066 and b) switch to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out a theme issue.

If it’s the commercial theme that is causing the issue then yes, you would need to seek assistance from the theme vendor.

Jan and Andrew, thank you both. I am having multiple issues and have been trying to come the forms in order to find an answer. My post here was to clarify the original answer so that I could see whether it applied to my problem. My apologies to the brute squad.

No apologies needed and I hope you realize the Brute Squad title is actually part of an (old) gag.

Yes, of course. One of my favorites.

Yeah – contacted the theme owner – no response yet.

As mentioned elsewhere the answer to this is clearing the browser cache etc. It now seems to have resolved it. Thank goodness for that – didnt want to use IE again!!

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions
