Can you provide a link to your site please?
I tried to go to your admin and all I see is a blank screen.
Using FTP, I would do a manual update and ensure that you updated ALL of the WordPress files excluding the wp-content folders.
I’m thinking that perhaps one of the admin files isn’t quite right.
hi thanks for the reply, i’ve replaced the folder “wp-admin” and wp-includes” using this FTP method, with no success.
Yeah, i decided to delete wordpress and re download it. Have to rebuild my site again. Is there a way to back up my site easier in the future? Perhaps copying the wp-content folder?
you have to do that and also keep a copy of your database…
Okay thanks. By the way I think i’ve figured out what the culprit is/was since the same problems started happening again after re-creating some of my site:
The theme WPSimplicity, in particular after I add “featured images” to my posts, (probably not of the optimal resolution or size, but those details weren’t easily found).
I guess i’ll just switch themes..
With regards to backing up your site, you should check out the backwpup plugin.
It works really well.
