Can't open uploaded files

Hi,
the plugin seems to work great, the only problem is that as asoon as I receive the file by clicking on the link in my email, I can’t open it.
I tried with jpg, rtf, pdf with no result.
i tried to specify the extensions but still no results.

Any help??
