n00b cannot access Advanced Post Editing Screen

    I need to use the Advanced Post Editing Screen, but I cannot access it.

    In the Administrative Options Writing Panel there is supposed to be a section at the top beginning, “When starting a post, show …� with two radio buttons, one of which will bring up the Advanced screen. I am looking at that panel, but there is no such heading, and no such buttons on Panel I see. The top-most entry is for sizing the edit box.

    I know the answer is a click or two away, but for the life of me I can’t find it.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    In WP2.0 that option has gone. Which version do you have ?

    Just installed WP2.0.

    Any plugins that might do the trick? I really want to use block quotes, and some other features that screen had.

    OK — just figured out that the WP docs that cover writing posts haven’t yet been totally updated for exactly what’s in WP2.0. Looks like stuff in the previous “advanced” screen has been folded into the WP2.0 regular screen. A little practice with the current WP2.0 screen shows that everything is working fine.
