Administrating User Registration

    Is there a way to require that I confirm all attempts at registering for my blog? I’m having trouble with some people who are spamming my blog (both comments and with WordSpew) and I want the choice to only verify some registrations. Is it possible? Maybe a plugin?

    I would very much appreciate a solution for this as well. Unfortunately it’s not easy to find plugins for WordPress.

    It doesn’t help matters that the search in this forum is broken. When I search for user registration I get no results which is strange given the title of this post…
