[Plugin: Advanced Excerpt] How to remove P tags? | WordPress.org

I have searched the forums extensively and none of the suggested methods are working. Has anybody successfully stripped <p> tags from the_advanced_excerpt? It’s a fantastic plugin, but I just need to fine tune it slightly.

Solved my own problem.

Add this to your themes functions.php file:

remove_all_filters('the_excerpt');
