There could be an error in the upload in the default theme, Try to redownload the original package from wordpress.org and reupload wordpress 2.0 package. It is better to FTP than using the upload button. Or download K2 from binary bonsai. Heres an example on my site

I am experiencing this same problem on a freshly installed 2.0
The default empty site shows fine, but as soon as I post 1 or any number of entries, it all goes to crap. When I view the page source, all the guts are there for all the missing elements, and I suspect html errors are present. I will look for something that would “kill” the remainder of the page.
The thing that makes me suspect errors and check the page source are that in one instance, my first post and a portion of my second post both displayed run together like a single post. Feel free to help me find any broken page source.
Site details:
http://www.speak-foreign-languages.com
Host = godaddy
Theme = Blix 0.9.1 (problem persists with other themes)
Problem occurs with or without the “iframe” links I have embedded.
Correction: I was wrong in my previous post about the “iframe” tags I was using. At least I’m disciplined enough to examine the most obvious culprit first, regardless of the fact I thought for sure they didn’t break anything.
So for me anyways… the page (including sidebar and footer) are broken when iframe is used.
It might be that there’s nothing inherently wrong with iframe (other than it’s non-standard microsoft origin) but it appears that the WordPress html editor fumbles up the closing portion of the iframe tag, removing the word iframe and leaving nothing but a forward slash and greater-than bracket. This in turn leaves the browser to believe that the rest of the page is part of the iframe, and since my iframe has a static non-scrolling size, I did not see the rest of the page displayed inside the iframe. My iframes were generated automatically by Amazon.com associate links.
If you are not using iframe, check the html view of your post(s) and see if the editor has jumbled something up for you. I have also noticed a simple line break tag getting messed up while investigating this, and I suspect the true problem is either with WP 2.0 or with the way the post is stored in the database, since care must be taken when storing html in a MySQL database.
Devs: address?
Hope this helps someone, I might be wrong about some of the above, but at least for me, I have my fix and finished logging time on it. 🙂 If other tags are botched, I’ll have to ditch WP 2.0 Good luck.
so I have the same problem with the iframe! What is the sollution?
derwichser and kmdtkh, please start up a new thread about this or something..hijacking threads is a no no! As it might “seem like” the Original Poster’s problem, it really is not..thanks..
derwichser, just copy and paste what you originally wrote for both or something and give a new (descriptive) title for the thread.. And kmdtkh, I’m not sure, but maybe reply to his thread or start a new one too.. I dunno lol!
This way, your problem can be better addressed..
