• I didn’t know where this was to go but i guess it’s here because it’s after the installation.

    Upon installing, i remember putting in an email to install wordpress.

    I now want to get rid of wordpress from my server, do i have to deactivate anything or do something to my install because i had to input an email address?

  • What WordPress are you talking about? To install WP from WP.org on your own or a paid hosts server there is no requirement for an email to “install.”

    Or have you installed a blog by using the WordPress.com service that requires an email addy so your password can be sent to you?

    nope, i downloaded wordpress from wordpress.org and installed it on my own server. upon installation it asked for an email address.

    is the email i got after installing wordpress on my webserver. i want to know, if i was to delete wordpress and not use it on my webserver anymore. would i have to unregister my email address some how or something?
