    Ok i know there are plugins for featured post that will make a specific post like a sticky and always show, but im wondering if their is a way to have a featured post plugin that shows the title in the sidebar and maybe even a preview of the text… instead of at the top of the blog

    I suppose i could always make a category that is named featured post have a special section on my side bar for that…just wondering if there was a dif option

    If not by category… then how do you define what is “featured”?

    i figured there would be a mod like the sticky one where you check it

    I don’t remember any plugin like that – which doesn’t mean, of course, it wouldn’t exist 😉

    You can check what I did on my site. It’s similar to what you describe. I made a “featured” category that I excluded from all my category lists. I then made a sidebar section for that category.
