Responsive slider background homepage

    hello,

    I downloaded the plugin Responsive Slider and I am trying to get it into my responsive child theme. Put the shortcode in home.php (before header) but a blank website turned out.
    Can you pls inform me which shortcode to place where?
    And how do I adjust the slideshow to full pagewidth? I make the slides in 1024 x 768-size. Is that correct?
