I lost my blog!!

    I have created a blog on wordpress. Had a URL and hosted the blog on GoDaddy.
    My subscription on GoDaddy got cancelled for late payments and wordpress removed the blog completely. I am now trying to re-create it from scratch but it says that the name I want to use is already used by another user – that should clearly be me!

    Do you know how to recover the blog?

    WordPress didn’t remove your blog if you were hosted on GoDaddy. GoDaddy removed it because you let your account lapse.

    That makes no sense at all unless somewhere in that jumbled mix of conflicting information you provided, you neglected to say that you are actually having an issue of some type with a blog you once created or once had hosted over at wordpress.com

    If that’s the case, you will need to direct your questions to support at wordpress.com.

    If that’s not the case, you’re out of luck. Unless you made regular backups of your site, it’s gone.
