Home Page Issue

Morning,

I’m a novice trying to set up my site with the Minimum 2.0 theme and have my other pages set, but am struggling with the HOME page/original or sample page distinction.

I want to set it so that when you click HOME, you see the same thing you would see as clicking on the site title at the top, but I don’t know how to do that and have struggled to set a featured image as well. Thanks for your help in advance!
