App ID and Secret

    Completely new to facebook and I just created a page for my wordpress site. I can’t seem to figure out the whole app id and secret thing. In every plugin (SFC or FB) or tutorial I’ve found online, they all say to go to developers.facebook.com/apps, but this brings me to my FB page where to such links are found.

    How do you get an app id and secret these days?

    If you’re not using a personal account, but a business account instead, then you can’t create apps.

    Use a FB personal account. Business accounts can only manage their Page, not actually do anything else useful.

    Thanks Samuel. I guess I’m out of luck because I don’t have a FB personal account, nor do I particularly want one. I guess my only option would be to create a fake personal one just for the website, but I’m thinking I’d just be asking for trouble if I did that. Oh well. 🙁
