In Version 1.4.1 pin counts have changed | WordPress.org

I upgraded to version 1.4.1 of Pinterest “Pin It” Button Lite. When I did the pin counts for all my posts changed drastically. I had one post that used to say over 350K pins, now it says 13K pins.

Is this a change in version 1.4.1?

Pinterest keeps track of pin counts per URL/post/page. The plugin doesn’t keep track of pin counts itself so the update shouldn’t of affected it. Paste in specific URLs here to test.

This was my fault. I had forgotten that I had modified version 1.3.1 to count the clicks for each post based on two different permalink styles.

I went back to 1.3.1 and everything is fine.
