multiple categories – help!

hi everyone, i recently installed wordpress on a new record-related website and i’ve come across a bit of a problem in regards to the categories feature.

when i try to assign a post to more than one category, all of the categories that are linked to the post show up when you bring up a single category page. here is an example:

there are three categories assigned to this post; folk, weird covers, and xian. when you click on one category to see all the “folk” records posted on the site, the title on the category page is, “folk, weird covers, xian”

how do i make this so that it separates the post and shows it in three different categories rather than lumping them into one?
