Seeking Plug-in for captioning multiple images quickly

I am in the process of moving a joomla website to a wrodpress. I am moving the images from the joomla gallery to wordpress using the download from server plugin. The issue is that I then have to caption each picture individually as I place the galleries into posts! And there is no way in media manager to do this quickly. Any suggestions for plug-in for media manger or a gallery plugin that would make this quick and easy would be welcome.
