Somewhere over the last couple of versions it stopped working altogether with W3 Total Cache with JS minification turned on. I’m not sure exactly which version broke it but I can tell you it was within the last 2 months.

I am also using the W3 Total Cache. There is no issue it’s working great. I fixed some HTML 5 related issues. Please upgrade WP Lightbox 2 to latest version. This should work for sure.

Deactivate and activate W3 Total Cache plug-in if still not working.
