Adding "Read More" JS to a Single Page

    I’m wanting to add a javascript “more button as shown HERE, to a single page on my wordpress site. I have tried just adding the js to the page itself using the html editor in wordpress but I can’t seem to get it to work. Please help me get this working. It will save me from having to create about 20 pages for this website.
