WordPress linking not working

    Hi,
    I’m running WordPress 3.4.2. When editing a page I have used the link button to create links with other wordpress pages. In fact I have correctly functioning links in posts I created earlier. However I was just editing a page today, created a link, when the pop-up box appeared I entered the url and the title. However it does not appear on the page. I’ve updated the page, purged the page caches, etc and it doesn’t seem to correct the problem. If I look at the html on the edited page it appears exactly the same as that for correctly operating links I created earlier on the page. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.
