twenty eleven simple e-commerce

    I’m very new to WP and decided to use twentyeleven as there is a lot of documentation.
    I figure out how to make a child folder and customize the heather. Now I’d like to have few (probably 6) products shown in my homepage.
    I think I need to use an ecommerce….plug in or child theme or…???
    I really would like something simple but I’m confused which is the easiest way.
    Any idea?
