CSS issue with dropdown Menu

    I am stuck! I am building a drop-down menu, but for some reason the menu is hiding behind the content below it. I have tried Z-Index on many different elements, but can’t seem to make it work. Here is my testing site. You can see the drop-down items below the Vendors link: http://mattandjentry.com/otgb/

    I can set the Canvas div to z-index: -1, which puts the menu above it, but then you can’t click, type, navigate, etc. Can anyone help me figure out why the menu is hiding behind #canvas?
