Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Do you have a link I can look at as an example. I’ll take a look on my end to see if I can optimize how it selects which image to display.
Thanks for the help my site is When Geeks Wed. For troubleshooting purposes I insert all my photos directly into the post and never use the featured image method.
Thanks again for the help.
Is there a resolution to this? I’m having the same problem at fiberflame.com
I upgraded to the latest version of socialize and am having issues with the Pinterest button.
When someone pins an article the full image does not show but only a small portion. It my last version of Socialize the full image would display when pinned. Here’s an example if you click the Pin button.

If you go here you can see the difference between the way the 21 Secrets image is displaying:

Please help! Can I go back to the older version of Socialize. Pins are huge for me right now so need help. Thank you for your awesome plugin.

I am having the same problem. I have kept the code that I used to use before installing the plugin and it does show images. It appears below the plugin.

I’m also having the same issue on Home-Ec101.com. I get a blank image, as well.
And me on 21CWoman.com. No image comes up in the box. Pinterest button temporarily removed until there is a fix for this. I like Socialize and do not want to have to install another plugin
I found that the problem was there was not a featured image designated for the post/page. Once I set featured images, it worked. I should mention that these were posts imported from Blogger. I don’t know if that made a difference or not.
I’m having the same problem. I click the pintrest button and nothing happens. my website is parttimeprosperity.com I love the socalize plug in and I’d like to keep using it but I would like to get to the bottom of the pintrest button issue.
Thanks!

For everyone else, make sure you are using a featured image for that post.
Yep. It’s the designated feature image — it works beautifully now. Thanks Jon B.
I’m not sure that I can set a featured image… I have thesis and from what I can tell the thesis theme disables the featured image. Any other suggestions or solutions or am I missing something?
