How to remove author byline in Coraline

I would like to completely remove the author name from posts on my Coraline site.

I see a lot of older messages on here from people who want to add an author byline in Coraline, but I don’t want one.

I never did anything to add a byline; it just seems to be there. I don’t know if Coraline changed its default display at some point.

Anyway, I would really appreciate some help.
