I’ve had to rollback and reinstall this new update for WordPress. I can’t see what I’m typing in the New Post box and I can’t see any of the Feature buttons that used to be directly above the New Post box in order to “bold, underline, add hyperlink, etc.” to my post.

I’ve deactivated all the plug-ins I have, assuming maybe one of them is affecting why I’m having this problem, but it had no affect.

When I tried to rollback to 3.4.1 through GoDaddy.com it didn’t work because I couldn’t get to my dashboard!

    Help!

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Will this allow me to see what I’m typing in my New Post box?! Or as least see the buttons above the box so I can change the font color?!

I deactivated all the plug-ins and it fixed my “view” problem. I’ll reactivate them one at a time till I figure out which one was causing the initial issue. Thanks!

    No problem 🙂
