activated custom menu plugin and still no menu

I’m on step 3 for installing the custom menu plugin for my blog, which states that I have to place [menu name=”Menu Name”] in the page that I want to display on my menu. I’m trying to put up an “About Me” page on my menu and this hasn’t worked so far. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I would think this step is telling me to put the actual name of my menu that is labeled in quotes “bryanskinnell.com menu” and insert this into the actual page on my editor. Is this correct? If not, then what am I really supposed to do? My blog is at bryanskinnell.com of course.
