User registration using Email address

Hi All,

I want to eliminate the username functionality on my website.
I want people to register using their email address and login using their email address.

I did come across few plugin’s which would allow email address to register. but they donot eliminate the username functionality.

My website has wp ecommerce, mingle forum, support dynamo ticket system integrated on it.

Any suggestions?
