Can't access admin panel and other problems
-
I’m not sure what version of WordPress I’m using, but I selected 3.4 as a guess.
My site: ghostmancer.x10.mx
On my main page, the white rectangle that’s supposed to highlight the content highlights nothing. I assumed this was from the random background color edit that I got from another forum post, but when I removed those edits, it didn’t get fixed. Worst of all, it still generated random colors!
When I try to access /wp-admin/, I get this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/ghostm67/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/bbp-admin/bbp-settings.php on line 532
I tried copying and pasting bbpress to another folder, but I still got the error. I renamed the entire plugins folder, it still gave me that error. It’s almost as if WordPress is running off a Cache! On the bottom, I’m missing my sidebar thing that’s supposed to be on the bottom.
I presume WordPress is running off some sort of cache, is it true and how to fix? Thanks in advance!

Deactivate all plugins and revert to Twenty Eleven theme and see if the problem persists. (It seems you edited the original 2011 theme, if so upload a fresh copy of it).
I renamed the plugins folder to old_plugins, the problem persists. I don’t know how to reset the theme without the control panel – I can only access the file system right now.
rename you theme folder to theme_old it will default to twenty-twelve.

Not unless you’re running 3.5 alpha it won’t! The current default theme is Twenty Eleven.
@esmi yea I missed typed that one 🙂
I renamed it, the site is still exactly the same! 🙁 Is there some sort of Cache that WordPress uses? This doesn’t seem right at all.
Not unless you’re running a caching plugin.
I think there’s something wrong with my site right now – FTP isn’t working! /sigh I’ll see if it works tomorrow, and if not, I’ll contact them.
