This is most likely caused by an incorrect API key.
We are adding code to check for valid results from the Google Web Fonts API and will now display an error if it is unable to communicate with the API.
A new version of the plugin will be released soon, please try it!

Sorry, I seem to stupid to get this working. I’m quite confused by the Google interface.
Do you guys maybe have a few screen shots how to generate the API?
I got a few different one and none works.

You need to use the Simple API Access API Key, which we have circled in red in the screenshot.
If you are still having troubles perhaps you could look in your error log to see if you are getting any errors.

It would appear that you do not have access to the Google API.
I would double check that on the Google API page you go to services and make sure that you have enabled “Web Fonts Developer API”

Sure, I rated the plugin but there is more info missing:
your plugin helped me integrate the fonts but it gives me no help when adding the stuff to my css.
To figure out the family I need to visit the google fonts page again and click on quick-use, copy the family, i.e. font-family: ‘Ranchers’, cursive;
or am I missing something ehre? I think it would be very nice if your plugin would also supply this info.
