I’ve had my wordpress site running at http://www.hellbentcomics.com for about 5 years, never had a problem. I haven’t visited the site in weeks, and haven’t logged into the back end for months. Suddenly today I go to check it and it doesn’t show up in multiple browsers on multiple computers. Just blank white screen. What do I do now?

Files are still there. GoDaddy is up and running. Not sure what version of WordPress I’m using, as I don’t know how to check that when I can’t view the site. View source shows nothing. I can’t log into the back end (/wp-admin) either.

I’m using a comicpress theme, but nothing else really worth mentioning.

Blank pages are displayed if PHP errors are triggered. You’ll have to log into your site via FTP or using a hosting panel’s file manager, see if you can find an error log file. See what kind of info it gives.

You can also access the log file from you host’s panel. Ask your hosting support for this info.

Thanks for the response. I’m not finding an error log. However, after reading through GoDaddy forums, they recently stopped supporting PHP 4. Could my version of WordPress be so old that it’s not compatable with PHP 5? I opened a ticket with them and am waiting to hear back.

Yes, that is a possibility if you haven’t updated WordPress for a while. You don’t mean you haven’t updated for 5 years, right?!

I don’t recall when I last updated WordPress. I stopped working on the comic two or three years ago, so it may have been 2 or 3 years.

Is your site up or disabled? I cannot see your site as running.

Wow… that’s long time ago! Yes, it looks like they have upgraded from PHP 4 to PHP 5, but usually the hosting company gives you option to run PHP 4 instead if you want to. Might wanna ask them how to do that.
