[Theme: Adventure Journal] Widgets don't display | WordPress.org

I’m trying to use Adventure Journal on my blog, but am unable to get any widgets to work. They work in the default theme (twenty-eleven) so I don’t think it is an installation issue- is there some configuration I can try? Using version 1.72 on my own host.

Have you made sure that the widgets are assigned to the correct sidebars? With Adventure Journal you have multiple sidebar options in your admin, including completely separate sidebars for both pages and blog.
