Same is true for the demo file the plugin came with.

Ok, now the upload does not work anymore, even with the same file?????
Any guidance on how to save the file with libre office to make it work?

1 upload the csv file
2 select the file to ingest
Are you saying the file shows in the list of uploads and doesn’t allow you to ingest it?
I will be revising mime/type validation. please update the plugin whenever possible

Yes, that was the problem but after the upload worked once its not uploading anymore. Not my file and not the before downloaded example file. It not doing anything anymore.
But first it showed my uploaded file in the ingest dropdown. After selecting it nothing happend.
As said, now I can not upload, it always says NOT A CSV FILE, no matter what I try to upload.
Any advice?

I think it would really be a cool plugin when it starts working … when there is an update it will be downloaded and installed on my end to test it.

WITH THE NEW VERSION: I could upload the file. But after choosing it in the ‘ingest’ dropdown, nothing happend.

The preview of the uploaded file works fine. Shows
_heading,_subheading,_portfolio_template,_thumbnail_id,_portfolio_video,_link,_portfolio_video_url,_portfolio_video_embed_code,post_type,post_author,post_title,post_name,post_content,post_excerpt,portfolio_category

But there is no ‘ingest’ action, maybe a button to trigger it manually might help? Just guessing around as I am not sure how to help debugging this …
You need to create a postmeta mapping did you do that?
Send a screenshot of the ingestion page with the csv file selected in the dropdown menu, also opening up your console would be a great help to indicate any javascript errors if they exsist(which i doubt)
