lost my wordpress gui | WordPress.org

Help! I went to my settings and changed my URL to another page so that my Home page would be text and graphics I actually wanted. I then decided I didn’t know what the heck I was doing, so I logged out without changing any settings. Now when I try to log in, I get a page of gibberish, a mish-mash of all the text and graphics I have installed, but there is not WordPress menu that might allow me to sort this mess out. What can I do??

You will need to start by changing the url back using one of the methods described in this article: Changing The Site URL

Then have a look at Creating a Static Front Page, and see if anything there is along the lines of what you had in mind.

Thanks so much for your help, but this seems to be beyond my capabiities. I’m weeping with frustration.
Could I possibly go back to my server admin settings and un-install WordPress??? Maybe reinstall?
