Aaarrgh! Fatal error after BP plugin update

    I just updated BP 1.57 to 1.6 and after “successful” update no get the following message when I try to bring up the Dashboard:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_get_displayed_user_username() in /home/content/n/a/p/napes1/html/wp-content/themes/bp-fun/bp-functions.php on line 17

    Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

    You can login into your site via FTP or use cPanel’s File Manger and delete that plugin folder, so it won’t be loaded anymore, to gain access to your site again.

    Your theme may not compatible with buddypress 1.6

    Thanks, everyone. I logged into my FTP, nuked the Buddy Press and restored the old version. I have no idea why the update won’t function because I’ve never had a problem with older versions.

    Any thoughts.
