Squible Advanced Documentation

I recently decided to re-design my wordpress site around the Squible theme. To meet my requirements however It will need some serious hacking. Since this is a “advanced” theme and uses a whole slew of non-standard tags I am having a little trouble. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was some advanced documentation out there that could help to get me started? I have made themes before and am comfortable with their guts but It would be a lot quicker this way then me figuring it out all over again, just to later find someone else had already posted a great guide.
