Effect of Deactivating WPEC | WordPress.org

I want to upgrade to WordPress 3.4.1. WordPress recommends that I first deactivate all plugins. If I deactivate WPEC, is there a chance that I lose something, like code I changed or parameters I set, when I reactivate it?

No. You can activate the plugin after upgrade when everything that you set will reappear.

I tried it and most of my site does not work now. The theme I’m using is Organico-Child. I’m trying to restore it. Any thoughts?

My site is at http://dandydiapers.com. I have restored it to what it was before upgrading to WordPress 3.4.1. Now I must wait to try upgrading again until I know what the problem is.
