I have the same issue with 1.5rc3. When I create a new query and then click for example the link of “Display Title: None“, nothing happens. Looking at the HTML, there is no enclosing <a> tag, only a <span> that makes the word look like a link but not behave like one.
The clickable areas below, such as WP_Query Arguments, open or close their respective areas as supposed.
I believe a WP update has broken the js interface. I’ll try to fix tonight and push a release.
Just updated my local WP and I didn’t experience these issues with QW 1.5rc3.
Could you please provide me with more details about your work environment. What OS, browser, WP version, and QW version you are using?
Thanks,
Jonathan

My WordPress is 3.41,and QW is 1.5rc3. Maybe I do not understand how it should work. My website is all pages (not posts). My permalink structure is %postname%. I was assuming that I could, for example, query pages and just present a list of titles, but when I try to use the Add Fields, Add Sort Options or Add Filters, nothing happens. I have tried IE 8, Firefox 14.0.1 and Chrome 21.0.1180.79. I also have the problem Daedalon mentions where if I have the Drupal View and I click on title, for example, nothing happens.
I do have a bunch of other plugins, most notably Use Google Libraries, because I was having trouble switching between the HTML and WYSIWYG editors.
This is a great idea, I just wish I could get it to work for me.
Thanks.
Thanks anyalynn, that was the clue I needed.
I installed Use Google Libraries, and it broke for me locally. The javascript files were being enqueued in the wrong order. I just committed a fix for this.
Look for version 1.5rc5
Thanks,
Jonathan
All seems to be working fine with 1.5rc5. Good work, Jonathan, and thanks!
I just downloaded this plugin and activated it for my site and it’s not working. I’m experiencing the same problems these folks were. I am currently running the latest version of wordpress 3.4.2 and Query Wrangler 1.5rc5. Not exactly sure why this isn’t working….
I cannot click on any of the fields in the Query Settings. I am on WP 3.5. Are there issues with the JS?
Thanks,
Catharine
In the tabbed option, I cannot select “Add Fields” button.
Chances are, yes it’s a JS issue. I’ll look into it this weekend. Sorry for any trouble.
Glad to know I’m not the only one. I’ve installed the plugin with 3.5 WP. When I click, nothing happens to configure the queries. Thanks for any help you’ll be able to supply.
You could use Firebug‘s Console > Errors screen to see what possible JS errors there are on that page. After activating that panel, reload the page (Ctrl-R) and if no errors occur upon loading, click through the steps that are not working and see if any errors occur then.
I’ve found the problem and have a work around I will be uploading in a few hours. Check back soon.
I posted the update last night. Could someone please verify that the problem is fixed for them as well?
Thanks,
Jonathan
EDIT: I installed Use Google Libraries 1.5 and it now works. Hope that helps.
Original post:
Hi,
I am having the same non-responsive UI issue.
Running at Hostgator:
Version 1.5rc6
WP 3.5
I have two sites, one had an older WP (now upgraded to 3.5) and it always worked, and now still does.
New site, WP3.5 with 1.5rc6, I can’t edit anything in the query in either Drupal or tabs view.
Firebug shows no JS issues (nothing doesn’t load happily..I suppose I could be missing a rqd js entirely.)
Any thoughts? Many thanks.
