    Is there a tool in or utility like Press This that works on self hosted WordPress sites? I loved this when my site was on wp.com, now can’t use it since I am self hosted. Any ideas?

    Hi Molly,

    Have you clicked “Tools” on your self-hosted site?
    You should see the press this bookmarklet there in the middle of the page.

    Thanks, Paul. Yes, I see it and installed it to my toolbar as I had when I was on wordpress.com as a host, but it doesn’t work now that I am self hosted. I posted a note about that on wordpress.com and was told that it did not work on self hosted, and to ask the question here. The error message I get is:

    You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/press-this.php on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache Server at spokaneboomers.com Port 80

    Can you help me? I so love this little tool!
