akismet always on and it appears up to date. v2.5.6

note: i’m running v3.5.1. the comment bots are back. the cookies-for-comments last entry in their forum is almost one year old. any thoughts?

many people are happy with disqus
it replaces wordpress comment system (but can keep all comments in wordpress db, in case you decide to dont use disqus some day)
ofc, you can try other anti-spam plugins
