[Plugin: Author Category] Admin Issue

So, When the Admin is logged in and setting the single category there seems to be an issue. I’m able to set the category within the users but when I go to posts as Admin and update a post the category is always set as “Uncategorized”…Plus as an admin I have no control over the posts categories If I want to change the category…not working. Any help would be awesome.
