I am attempting to remove the comments area from a page on my site. I did uncheck the box in settings > discussion, but I am still seeing it on my page
There will be parameters on your single.php page (presumably), that display the comment list and allow others to comment on your blog, this will need to be removed in order to stop comments from showing.
